We have been working on one for three years. Here is the one we used this year along with about 6 other teams. They all loved it.

Re: Da Bears Scouting program

Ok, so I think I should finally jump on here and voice my opinion on the scouting program. First of all hi guys, my name is Fennig, I am the inventor of this scouting program. My team thought it would be a good idea to see what people around the world in the FIRST community would think of the program itself. Now I know people are saying that this is an amazing program and blah blah blah. To be honest, this was just one of those things that I wanted to help bring out technology to the fields that most people do not think is important.

Now there is all this talk about people wanting to use the program, distributing it to everyone who would like help with scouting. The one thing that I am looking when and if we do finally distribute it to everyone is why you need the program and how you scout currently.

Now ending my sixth year on the team, yeah everyone on my team still wants me around for some reason, I wanted to get the help to other teams around the world.

If we were to do this, I would still like to take all the information and hopefully have it posted on our website throughout the weeks of competition. We would like to have a fully functional database that is through our site that everyone world wide can see.

Everyone who is a scouter can realize that yes it is hard to scout a team you have never seen, but doing this would take a lot of pressure off those scouters.

So yes these pictures of the program are from nationals, but I have been modifying the program on a daily basis to make it fully functional to any team, even the ones with few members.

Yes I did put a lot of hard work into the program, and yes I am still working it out to be something that anyone can use. I want to make sure these teams that are saying they want them, will use them and spread around the FIRST community that scouting is the most important thing when preparing for a match.

Re: Da Bears Scouting program

this software is amazing and I would like a copy, I had been talking with the programmer and he was going to get me set up at Michigan State Comp. but time got out of our hands. Team 1918 would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Da Bears Scouting program

Team 134 would love it if it became available! Our scouting program is lacking if you know what I mean. The pictures looked good also. Please post if this does become available!
