-Here's a message from the Video Game Expo being held in Philadelphia on Oct 9-11. Unfortunately 1712 cannot participate again this year due to scheduling conflicts. If anyone is interested, please use the contact info below. We did both a VEX "hands on" section and an FRC demo with other FRC teams last year.

Good Afternoon,

Video Game Expo (aka VGXPO) would like to invite you and your school
to represent your robotics club at our annual convention. For the
second year in a row VGXPO will host R-BOTX, a robot festival that
features robot challenge and showcase areas for both FIRST and VEX as
well as other robotics. Your school can show off it robots at VGXPO as
well as help us foster interest in robotics and engineering
technology.

We are offering a free booth and 10-student passes to any organization
that participates in R-BOTX.

Lastly, we should give you some background on VGXPO. Now in our fifth
year, VGXPO is three days of video game revelry and takes place from
Oct. 9-11 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. VGXPO is an annual
convention where gamers and industry insiders can come together to
celebrate gaming, experience the newest games, encounter game industry
legends, compete in tournaments, buy games and meet with friends.
