Giving Sensors a Pulse
So here is an idea I was working around for a little bit. I sit possible to the when the digital sidecars send power so that one could control so that this could be use as a pulse (this means connecting the ground/earth wire to a sensor slot on another slot) to check for wire errors or sensor operation. Just to make sure if the sensor is connected and has power to give the cRIO the first two steps of troubleshooting.

What you're describing is unclear. Perhaps you could draw a picture to give a better explanation of your idea.
