Good Luck 2010

Before Saturday and before everyone goes to their respective teams, I would like to say good luck to all this year. May it be a fun, unique, and educational experience for all to enjoy.

Remember during the six weeks things can get heated(both here on CD and on your team), so try to keep things as cool as possible and stay professional and gracious.

Re: Good Luck 2010

Well spoken,

A quick word from a recent alum,
As this is the first competition in 5 years or so that I am actually not able to participate in (stupid college!) I honestly am jealous beyond belief of all those who are participating in this game. Just a few tips, as I'm sure many of you already know, the next 6 weeks are going to be the most stressful, busy weeks of the year for some, and tensions may run high. I urge everyone, try not to get too stressed out. Making a winning robot is awesome. However, looking back on my involvement in FIRST, I don't remember records. I remember the people I worked with, the robots I built, and the crazy and fun situations that occurred, during build season and competitions. Seriously, keep GP in the forefront of your mind through the season. That way, everyone will have a great time, regardless of the results at the end. Remember the core values of FIRST, enjoy the competition, and have a great year!

Good luck to all teams!!!
