active mecanisms

Hi everyone, we read and searched the manual, but didn't seem to find a satisfying answer..

Are we allowed to have active mecanisms that change their location but don't exceed the 60" hight limit (e.g some sort of a platform that streches up and has a kicking mecanism connected it etc.) on our 2010 robot?

Thanks
