2010 Sample Camera Code

After installing Labview and the latest update, from the first webite, on our computers, we were unable to find the camera code for this year's game, "Breakaway". The main question is where are we supposed to find the program -- is it on the discs that came with the kit or are they in an update?

Thank you,
Mililani High School, Team 2853

Re: 2010 Sample Camera Code

After you install the update, create a new project and the code will be there.

Re: 2010 Sample Camera Code

The sample camera code came in the first LabVIEW Update as part of the default robot project. It turns the robot to face the target.
It'll probably need tuning to match your robot.

The update that we installed was number three I believe. It said that it was supposed to have all of the information from the earlier ones included. Is there a more recent one or should I go back to the first update and load that one by itself?

Re: 2010 Sample Camera Code

The latest update is: FRCLabVIEWUpdate2.0for2010.zip

If you have that installed then create a new Robot project.
You should see under Team Code a Vision Processing vi.

Just a little side note, were we supposed to install our camera before we tried to get the program?

Right now all I see as our options for premade camera examples are:
Two-Color Servo Camera Example
Locate Colored Object
Servo Camera Example
Save Image to Disk Example (?)

I believe that all of these examples were from last year's code. If one of these is the code we are supposed to use, does that mean that we must fix the code ourselves to make it work for this year's competition?

Please Help...
Thanks again.

Thank you very much!
I think I found the correct program. If it is the one that is supposed to track circular objects, and I am most certain that it is, I am now able to access it.

Best of Luck this Season!
