cRio problem

We have connected and updated the cRio imaging already, however now we are unable to connect anything to the cRio. Does anyone have any advice on what is going on?

Re: cRio problem

attempt to tether the cRio to your drivers station using Ethernet port 1 on the cRio...

also, make sure the cartridges on the cRio are in the right position...

However, your descrition was slightly bland. Could you be more specific?

Re: cRio problem

We have tried tethering to the drivers station (old and the new netbook) and it was unsuccessful. We were able to ping the robot from the netbook and got a response, but when we try to tether the netbook to the cRio a connection can not be made.

Re: cRio problem

Also we have the new cRio image on the cRio, but when we came in today to get back to work we were unable to connect to the cRio. What else would you like to know so you can help us?

Unable to connect in what respect? The driver station "robot communications"? Deploying Code?

Are you logged into the driver account? Do you have multiple network interfaces enabled on the classmate? Do you have the IP address on the classmate / cRIO set correctly?
