Changing Gears in Toughbox Nano?

Those of you who have the TB Nanos already, is it possible to switch out the gears like in the fullsize TBs? I'm looking to drop down to the 40/24 ratio (want something halfway between a Stackerbox and a TB). It seems from the CAD drawings that space in the housing wouldn't be an issue and center-center distance should theoretically be the same, but is it possible to remove the shafts and gears, etc?

Thanks,
--Ryan

Re: Changing Gears in Toughbox Nano?

Since optional gears are listed on the web page for the nano

http://andymark.biz/am-0482.html

I suspect you might be able to change them. And since the gearbox was assembled in the first place, my guess is that you can take it apart too. I didn't see any welds holding it together, it appears to be a single piece of rectangular tubing, with a screw retaining the idler shaft.

Figuring out how to take transmissions apart has been a passion of mine since I fixed one in a toy car when I was 6.

Re: Changing Gears in Toughbox Nano?

it is possible we added the longer shafts and it would be posible to change the gears but the gearbot is a single piece of Chanel.
