Exclamation Classmate Reimaging: Fatal Error

Every time we try to reimage the Classmate, we're able to successfully complete the process (up to 100%), but when it reboots, we get a fatal error on startup:

"Windows is unable to start because the registry could not be updated. To address this problem, please contact your computer manufacturer. Windows must now Shut Down."

Not sure why this is happening, we followed all the instructions in the manual and on screen to the letter.

Did you follow the very last instruction on the screen? I'm referring to the one which told you to contact your computer manufacturer.
