Problems with RefNum Registry get vi

We have none of the wires coming from it... So it is messing up our whole program.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what we should do?
Has this happened to anyone?

Thanks Zebrabots Programmer Ty Adley

Re: Problems with RefNum Registry get vi

What do you mean you don't have any of the wires coming from it?

You have to open something (joystick, drive, etc.) then put the wire from that into a refnum registry set. then use the refnum with a refnum registry get vi to use it.

Screenshots of your problem would help me out tremendously.

EDIT: Nick Tahoe's is an amazing restaurant btw, assuming the rochester you're from is Rochester, NY.

It's Rochester Indiana. The problem is that the vi itself has no wires input options coming from it. There are not inputs to the vi for data. I think one of the other programmers deleted the code for the vi itself.

Re: Problems with RefNum Registry get vi

If you mean that there's no way to wire into it, or out of it, then here's a possible fix ...

Open the problem VI, on it's front-panel, right click the VI's icon in the upper right and select "Show Terminals". If none of the little squares are colored in, then there are no terminals (they disappear if you delete the original source control/indicator).

To connect something to an output/input "pipe", then simply hover over the little square that you want it to come in/out, click it, then click on the item you want to link to it.

Hope that helps.
