This was an early prototype which we have since abandoned, for its size. Im not sure exactly why it worked the theory is that as the ball was rotates it span perpendicularly to the roller. This created a force that pushed the ball "up" the roller and into the notch where it would continue to spin until we kicked it. Just a prototype and a theory though.
