That is one beautiful frame. Ours is exactly the same setup. Long, 4wd, 2 Plaction and 2 Omnis. It'll be interesting what is to come on this frame!!!

This is actually my first year working with roller chain (last year's 1714 robot had wheels driven directly from CIMs with BB Planetaries mounted on). After hours of chain breaking and tension, this kind of a drivetrain is looking all that much more appealing to me. I'm jealous and envious.

Do you have encoders on your back (traction) wheels as well? I would worry about those front wheels slipping and throwing off your wheel count (assuming you're using them for auto mode).
The annodize looks sweet. You can never go wrong with black and gold... |
