Windriver update problems.
I'm hoping someone can help me with this. We recently (yesterday) ran into a problem with Windriver. When we attempt to start the IDE, we get an error stating that there was a problem finding the License Manager. This error does not occur when we run the program with the "Run as Administrator" option, implying that it is probably a file permissions problem. This should not be occurring, as no changes had been made (no installations/uninstallations/settings changes) since the program last worked correctly. In addition to this, once we ran the 2-08-10 WPI C++ update, all of the FIRST-specific examples disappeared and Windriver stopped recognizing our WPILibs include statements, effectively breaking our code. Has anyone else run into a similar problem? Please help if you can.

Re: Windriver update problems.
I am guessing that WinDriver was installed on a Vista system as Administrator and the directory where it is installed is not accessible to the user who is starting the program.
In windows explorer grant full permissions to all users to the WinDriver directory and rerun. - Sunit |
