Have you installed the cRIO gaskets?
This year, a set of black rubber gaskets for the cRIO were included in the kits of parts.
To install them, you must disassemble the cRIO and apply the gaskets using the procedure at the link below: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/all...257673007935A1 Have you installed yours? Did you notice your cRIO was dirty inside? After installing the gaskets did you run into any problems? |

Re: Have you installed the cRIO gaskets?
I opened up our cRIO and put the gaskets in place. It looked totally clean inside. That's to be expected, for a couple of reasons. First, we had a very nice electrical box last year, which kept out any dust and debris from mechanical work on the robot. Second, it was the cRIO we used on our practice robot, so it didn't see any use in an intense environment.
A couple of students were there to help. We had two observations about the innards of the cRIO. At first glance, it seems like very little stuff for now expensive it is. Looking closer, though, it's impressive how much is packed into such a tiny space. |
