Re: Bridge Problems
First off, http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...threadid=84356
Second, which bridge are you using? The WGA (black box) or the other one (which looks... more slick? and is silver). Either way, the easiest way to do it is probably to reset it (hold down the reset button w/ a paperclip or something for 5-10 seconds). Wait for it to finish (lights will stop blinking) which will take ~30 seconds. Then, log back into it (IP depends on model, both are posted in the guide http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Com...ed-Rev-0.7.pdf Just configure IP and Default Gateway to Static (not DHCP), and it should work again (remember IP is 10.15.91.1 for your team and Default Gateway is 10.15.91.4). |

Re: Bridge Problems
I've always been able to reset it by logging into it at:
10.TE.AM.1 and logging in as admin (password: admin) then setting the WPA settings back to no encryption. |

Re: Bridge Problems
heres what ive done: ive set the DS classmate to auto find IP (and ive tried 10.15.91.5). Ive reset the bridge 3 times (after trying), ive tried multiple spots in the router, ive tried other ethernet cords. ive tried pinging the default IP adresses, with no connection.

Re: Bridge Problems
If you've reset the bridge to defaults, then you need to change your computer to a compatible IP address. 10.x.x.x won't work anymore. The instructions in section 2.10.1 of the control system manual won't completely work either, because they assume the router is a factory defaults and gives you a compatible IP address via DHCP. You would manually need to set your IP to 192.168.1.x to talk to the bridge if you did factory defaults.

Re: Bridge Problems
You shouldn't be messing with your Driver Station. Leave its address alone (10.15.91.5, which the DS application sets automatically when given the 1591 team number).
