What connects to the field mgmt system?

Is just an Ethernet connection ... And maybe ac power if the the regional provides? Trying to construct a convenient driver console and want to make sure those connection ports are easily accessible. Thanks.

All that plugs in from the field is an Ethernet cable to the Classmate.

Having said that, it would be wise to leave all the ports we use on the Classmate (ethernet, power, and USB) easily accessible.

Do we provide the cable or does the station have a cable that we plug into the port on the classmate?

The cable will be there on the driver station shelf for you to plug into your Classmate.

You'll want to be able to easily unplug the e-stop button when you're on the field, but be able to plug it in when in the pits.
