What is the "kernel image"?
Hi,As I recall, when we first use WindRiver, we had to configure the remote systems for the cRIO. And we had to find some "kernel image". Is that te actual operating system? Why do we need to deal with it? Didn't we already do that when we use the cRIO imaging program?Thanks!-Masoug

Re: What is the "kernel image"?
The kernel image is a copy of the VxWorks kernel loaded on the cRIO. It's used as a reference for Windriver when using the debugging mode.
