Re: paper: 2010 Team 33 Chassis Design paper

From the first time our team saw the bumps, we knew mobility would be very important to our strategy for this years game. Being able to transition smoothly over the bumps is not only important for durability and driver confidence, but it allowed us to do our 5 ball autonomous sequence when our partners were not able to kick the middle balls. This paper showcases the steps used in our design process and showcases what is underneath the skin.

This design was what I was eluding to in the paper regarding CG Migration of a Flat Chassis.

Re: paper: 2010 Team 33 Chassis Design paper

This was the companion paper:

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/2321

After we did our analysis, we felt that it was such a simple and powerfull tool that we should share it. I don't like giving away too much as then people assume its easy. So I wrote this companion and posted it up early in the season to get people thinking.

As an added bonus, it makes a pretty neat flip-book!

Re: paper: 2010 Team 33 Chassis Design paper

I updated with a picture of the final product (finalish as we will still improve some stuff for IRI). I also added in a 97-2003 version per request.
