2 ME Positions Open in Stanley Black and Decker (DeWALT) Accessory Division

Like the title says. We have 2 ME positions open in the professional power tools accessories department here in Towson (Baltimore) MD.

Positions are aimed at Senior/Project Engineer level, but all are welcome to apply.

Job requirements are similar for both positions:

Job Specifications:
(Key results expected from this position in the first 6-12 months)

• Design Best in Class performing products
• Utilize the NPSS & Milestone processes to develop and deliver technical expertise for products
• Program management of key development projects
• Technical Leadership of assigned projects
• Delivers new products & existing product Improvements supporting the global business team priorities
• Support mature product productivity and value improvement projects
• Suggest engineering system and process improvements supporting the product development function
• Communication with all internal and external resources supporting the category
• Quality, design, testing and metrology systems development to improve technical capability
• Support business unit with developing strategies and direction
• Create & Develop innovative product solutions for user/customer needs

Employee Specifications:
(Minimum education and experience required and key personal characteristics)

• Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills experience
• Proven results in delivering innovative new products exceeding customer requirements
• Five plus years experience with Drilling/Linear Edge Product design role or related technical field
• Process and Manufacturing exposure or experience; milling, Heat treat, etc.
• Extensive experience in product design and development
• Periods of Cross-functional experience in varied disciplines are desired
• Excellent communication, organization & time management skills
• Self motivated, results & goal oriented, hands on abilities
