Social Media and FIRST

Social Media has become a large part of the online world. More and more, it is becoming the way people in school communicate with one another. Sometimes it is even more effective than blast emails.

There are many different types of social media. There is something like this, a forum, or a place where people can have public conversations to achieve a common goal. There is the 'Status' based social media, such as Facebook or Twitter, where a user can share what they are doing or their opinion on something. There is even Location based social media to let people know where the best businesses and places of interest are.

How is your team using social media? If at all?

We're currently using Facebook and Twitter. Both receive the same updates since the accounts are now linked together. We'll probably start using them a lot more now that build season is coming.
