Rookie Classmate Failure
I am attempting to image a new/2011 Classmate using the "2011 Image for '11 Classmate" flash drive and following the instructions in "HOW TO SET UP YOUR 2011 DRIVER STATION". I can get to the point where it says:
Image applied successfully! When I press a key, the command prompt sits at the F:\ drive and does nothing, so I either exit the command prompt or reboot the Classmate manually. Then it bluescreens and reboots to the standard Windows Error Recovery screen immediately when the screen with a progress bar and "(c) Microsoft Corporation shows up. None of the options work, but when I boot to safe mode, the last thing it loads before crashing is \Windows\system32\DRIVERS\classpnp.sys I'm afraid that I may have a bad image, since I've tried everything I can think of - even using different USB ports, removing the USB drive before and after pressing a key to continue, leaving it in, etc... Please let me know if you have any ideas how I should proceed. Last edited by Techie_Teacher : 09-01-2011 at 01:51. Reason: Improved clarity |

Re: Rookie Classmate Failure
If the image key provided in the KOP truly is defective, you may be able to request a new one by clicking on the "Submit a Replacement Parts Request" link in TIMS. Be sure to be specific. Other than that, I really don't know how to solve your problem other than borrowing another team's image key for about 30 mins.
