The Tower

I searched through all the manual, looked at the official field drawings, searched the CD forums, and as a last resort, asked Twitter (with the proper hashtags and everything).

And I can't seem to find my answer to one very simple question: How high are the towers? The ones the minibots have to climb?

I know that the base is 12" tall, and the deployment line is 18" above that. And the base itself is around 1/4" off the ground thanks to a floor protector. How high off the ground is the target?

Re: The Tower

Read 2.2.5, fourth paragraph, fourth sentence. It should read something like,
Quote:
The bottom of the lower disk (i.e. the portion of the TARGET contacted by the climbing MINIBOT) is approximately 122 inches above the floor.

That would match exactly the measurement I made yesterday at the Kick-Off broadcast: From the top of the base to the bottom of the lower disk was 110 inches.

Re: The Tower

No autographs, please.

But seriously, PM me if you (or anyone else) has any questions that you think I can answer "because I was there."
