I had an opposite reaction. I know what they meant to say by the terse response: This question is too broad; please be more specific so we can give you a meaningful answer. But they could have been nicer about it. Yes, the team asking the question is a veteran team. But that doesn't mean the team members are all veterans - it could have been a rookie question.

By far, my favorite GDC answer:

No, there is no limit on the number of RED CARDS a TEAM may receive. We are nervous that you ask the question.
