Award Deadlines - one WEEK SOONER than past years

For all of you veteran teams - In the past the submission deadline for some of awards has been MIDNIGHT the Thursday after ship date.

No more - The recent 'frcteams' email blast on January 13th has the deadline as "2/17/11 at 11:59 AM EST" which is Thursday NOON, before the ship date. This is a full week sooner than in years past. This is also the date listed on the calendar at usfirst.org/frc.

The deadline above seems to be the 'safe' bet. The following documents have NOON / MIDNIGHT and year errors. You will need a time machine to comply with the guidance below.

From the usfirst.org website, awards section of the website:
http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles...structions.pdf
Item 5 has the submission deadline as LAST year, a minute before MIDNIGHT.

From the 2011 manual:
http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Rob...-%20Awards.pdf
Section 6.3 has the submission deadline as LAST year, at NOON.

As a comparison:

From the 2010 manual, last years manual:
http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Rob...-%20Awards.pdf
Section 5.3 has the submission deadline as LAST year, at MIDNIGHT.

Issue #2 - Last year you could submit the WFFA and Chairman's to two different regionals. However the manual for last year said they had to be submitted together. The instructions for this year is not understood considering the confusion in the manuals. Any clues here ?

Re: Award Deadlines - one WEEK SOONER than past years

In addition, except for the Dean's list nominations, they need to be submitted to STIMS, not TIMS.
