Go to Post I could say that the decline in the population of pirates is responsible for global warming, the statistics correlate, but its obvious there's no causation there. - Racer26 [more]

Spammer Prevention System Fail

My account has been reset because of the server crash a while back. Now I get this all the time:

Please note: Because you are a relatively new member, your posts may not appear immediately. In order to prevent unneeded spam and inappropriate material, posts by new members undergo a special moderation period. Your threads could take up to 48 hours to appear, but usually will appear much sooner. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience; bear with it and you will eventually post without any interruption.
Now that is not the problem. The problem is the spam prevention system that every post from a fairly new person that has a link in it must be evaluated by a moderator to be posted. Now that sounds like a solid system, but this is where it fails: I can post a post with only words in it and then edit it right after to include the links. The edited posts do not get the notification that the post would be evaluated by a mod. I believe problem should be presented to who ever is in charge (Brandon).
