Makes sense with the zone being as narrow as it is with the autonomous lines spread between the two grids. I do think we'll see two top row logos over three ubertubes so its the same number of points.

I agree. If an alliance can put a logo on both top rows then there is no advantage to putting the uber tubes on the same scoring grid.

(2 uber tubes and a logo + 1 uber tube and a logo) = (3 uber tubes and a logo + 0 uber tubes and a logo)

(30 + 24) = (36 + 18) = 54

No point in having the risk of bumping into each other during autonomous. There is no advantage to doing this.

This is interesting.

Generally speaking, scoring 3 tubes on the top row shouldn't be all that uncommon... But the odds of 3 tubes being placed on one set of top row pegs is a bit risky since there is a decent risk of an autonomous collision. Scoring like that would require a delay by at a least one of the robots to ensure that there is space for all of them to score.

I agree, but somewhere, there's going to be a match where it's three solid teams with good programming skills and they will be playing against a bad alliance, and they will be able to achieve it.

The chance of an alliance pulling this off has nothing to do with the skill of the opposing alliance, it depends solely on the autonomous skill of the three robots.
I'm generally inclined to believe you, not because I think that the robots will be incapable of pulling it off, but because alliances will be more inclined to score three on the top level rather than risk only scoring two on one row of pegs.

No, what he was saying that the opposing alliance wouldnt be much of a scoring threat so they could take the risk of missing 1 or 2 ubertubes to try for the 3 on one set.

There will be two top rows over three ubertubes, though. No reason they need to be in the same row.

Well 1 row of 3 ubertubes underneath a logo is 54pts, whereas 1 row of 1 ubertube underneath a logo + 1 row of 2 ubertubes underneath a logo is over 80pts so it is not as many points but it would be fun to see

6 proper tubes and 3 Ubertubes in any permutation on the top row is 80 points.
