Tetrix Motor Resistor Value

Hey guys,

Our resistor for the Tetrix motor burnt out and we'd like to know what the value is for it. I've looked through both this and the motors section, and couldn't find it. This is the motor that is required for the minibot. Has anyone taken apart a working motor and figured this out? We're sure that this information would be useful to many teams with Tetrix motor problems, burnouts, etc. in order to correctly replace the burnt resistor for experimental purposes.

Thanks!

This is addressed in other threads here on CD. Search for them and you will find that it is actually an inductor. It is part of the LC lowpass filter added to reduce RF noise generated by the motor.

Re: Tetrix Motor Resistor Value

Please note that opening the motor to repair this component is an illegal modification.
