NEMO 2011 Annual Meeting
NEMO (Non-Engineering Mentor Organization) is holding our Annual Meeting on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Championships in St. Louis. Room location to be announced.
This meeting is open to all adults who help any FIRST program team with non-technical areas - such as travel planning, teambuilding, paperwork, team organization, meal planning, team spirit, etc. You do not have to be a member of NEMO to attend (but it's free to join: www.firstnemo.org). Please help me spread the word to your team mentors! We'll be discussing any topics of interest to the adults who attend, and it's a great opportunity to network with people from all over the world! If you have any questions please contact me at kkentfield[at]usfirst[dot]org |

Re: NEMO 2011 Annual Meeting
Within the craziness of the Championship activities, the NEMO Meeting is always a good stop, even if you only have 15 minutes to sit down and listen.
If you have topics that particularly interest you, be sure to let Kathie know! |

Re: NEMO 2011 Annual Meeting
The NEMO meeting will be held in Room 280 in America's Center.
I hope you'll let your mentors know about NEMO and that they will try and stop by, even if it's just to say "hello!" You do NOT have to be a member of NEMO to attend the meeting; it is open to all adult and college-age mentors who deal with any non-technical aspects of any FIRST team. 10am to noon, come and go as your busy schedules dictate. For more info contact me! |

Re: NEMO 2011 Annual Meeting
I'll be there! Hopefully a bunch of people who attended our NEMO gathering at the Michigan State Championship will also be there.
The Non-Engineering Mentors Organization is a great way to network with other teams and mentors and share resources. This is getting more difficult yet more essential every year as FIRST grows. I'm looking forward to seeing people again and to meeting new friends. |
