Comms Not Working

We have configured the router and laptop to work together and communicate with each other as per the instructions on the KOP website. When I start up the driver station, the Bridge and Robot lights are both green. As I understand it, this should mean the robot works, but I still am not getting comms.

The only obvious problem I have seen is that when I connect to our wireless network (1997) it says I have limited connectivity. When I tether, it works just fine. What do I need to do to make sure that the connectivity is NOT limited?

Or any other ideas as to why this isn't working?

Thank you for any and all help in advance.

Re: Comms Not Working

The "limited connectivity" just means there's no route to the internet. Don't worry about it.

Those two green lights tell you that the devices are reachable on the network. The other Communication and Robot Code lights are the ones you probably want to focus on, right?

Tell us what the Robot Signal Light (RSL) is doing. Is it off? On? Flashing slow, flashing fast, winking off briefly every second or two, or what?

Re: Comms Not Working

I am speaking from memory but I believe it is flashing steadily with the jaguars, sort of the "standby" when I dont yet have comms.

I will be able to give you a definite answer tonight around 5 after we work on the robot for the night.

Thank You!

Re: Comms Not Working

I am assuming you are using remote dashboard, not local dashboard. Also Have your tried clicking enable I mean since you got the green lights do you see voltage on your dashboard display? If you are then you are getting comms. If that is the case then it might be your code that is not setup right O.o
