our team wants to use the Analog Devices ADXL345 and ADW22307 Sensor Board but we don't have any idea on how to wire them. we looked through the sensor manual but there isn't any information on how to wire them.

any help would be appreciated

thanks

I know that in this document, in the text it describes how to wire the devices.

thanks we have looked through that we have the accelerator wired but don't know how to wire the "Gyro" part of it...

in that document doesn't mention how to wire the gyro, unless we are misreading it

Re: Analog Devices ADXL345 and ADW22307 Sensor Board

In the gyro section, there is a table

It looks something like this

Code:
-----------------
| RATE | Temp |
-----------------
| +5V | +5V |
-----------------
|Ground |Ground |
-----------------
And it says *Pin-out as follows, in same orientation as photo above:*

Hope this helps.

(Simply hook up a PWM cable to the rate half, with the white wire in the RATE pin.)

Jacob

Re: Analog Devices ADXL345 and ADW22307 Sensor Board

We just hooked up our gyro. The post above is correct. You hook rate up to the sig pin on your analog breakout and the + and - respectively. ( I believe that they are already in the correct order, but check to be sure). Also, unless you have a female-female PWM cable, you will have to cut and splice two regular ones. Also, I have attached some code that we are running that provides an auto-trim function using the gyro.
