Trouble with D-Link wireless router - stuck on save screen

Our team is having some problems setting up the D-Link router. The setup process goes fine until the last part, when you have to set up the network settings for the router. We can enter in all of the information (such as setting the Access Point IP Address to 10.16.31.1). After entering all of the correct settings and pressing “Save Settings”, the screen is stuck on “The settings are saving and taking effect, Please wait …” screen. It stays on this screen until the connection times out.

We’ve tried this on multiple computers, with no luck. The same thing happens every time. Has anybody else had this problem? Is this something simple that we are missing?

That's the way it's supposed to work.

When you finally change the DLink's IP address, that screen will never return, because your PC and the DLink are suddenly on totally different IP networks. Also if you check your browsers address bar, you'll see it is polling the OLD DLink address.

You have to now change your PC IP address before you can see the DLink again.
