Pneumatic Pressure Switch Programming

Hey there,

We just started hooking up the pneumatics on our robot, and I'm responsible for programming it. We have a pressure switch attached to the system, but I need to know whether or not I need to program with it, or if it's automatic. Also, is there a specific VI that receives data from the switch? Help is much appreciated, I don't want to explode anything accidentally!

Re: Pneumatic Pressure Switch Programming

If it is the required pressure switch, then you will wire the ends into a DIO port, and in the Open Compressor VI, specify which channel and slot you have that it is wired to. That VI should do the rest.

That switch should shut off the compressor when it reaches 120psi, just so you know if it is wired correctly or not.
