Bill of Materials - File Name
Hi everyone. I have looked through both the manual and chief delphi, and I cannot find anywhere that specifies what we must name our BOM (Last year, it clearly stated that the name must be FRCXXXX_EventName where XXXX was the 4-digit team number.)
Is there a certain name we must give to the file, or should we just follow the same format as last year? Last edited by Kpchem : 12-02-2011 at 22:03. Reason: typo |

Kevin,
The method of storage and the naming convention are still in discussion. Please watch Team Updates. |

Re: Bill of Materials - File Name
So I searched and didn't find another answer to this question from last year, or this year, and I don't remember what we did last year, and I can't find any direction for this year. Is there a filenaming convention for the BOM, and where can I find it?
Actually from the rule, it appears we don't need to submit it this year. Is that correct? Last edited by Gary Dillard : 28-02-2012 at 17:51. |

Re: Bill of Materials - File Name
We're just showing it to the inspectors this time; no collection (i.e. no flash drive virus epidemic). In fact, the FIRST format in general is only strongly recommended this year, so I think you're good.
...But Rookies/everyone, please be nice to your inspectors and expedite your inspection process by offering the standardized format. |

Re: Bill of Materials - File Name
Gary,
You only need to have it displayed during inspection. A printed copy would be ideal but not required. They will not be collected during this season under the current rules. |
