PSoC problems
We are having trouble programming our PSoC, we have the right hex file, the program says that the PSoC is connected and powered, but whenever we try to program it we get a message saying
"FAILED! PSoC device is not acquired! Check connection of the chip to the programmer" We have the 9v battery plugged in What should we do? |

Re: PSoC problems
I don't have any helpful suggestions, sorry. But the board gets its power from the USB connection and the battery should not be necessary.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\FRC\FRC_IO.v2.hex
Did you make the mistake of installing the generic Cypress DVD that came with the board? |

Re: PSoC problems
Yes, I did install the Cypress disc. Should I not? If so, where do I get the proper software?
Thanks. |

Re: PSoC problems
Don't install the Cypress DVD software. It conflicts with the FIRST versions of the same software.
Uninstall and clean out all the Cypress software, then reinstall the Cypress software from the Driver Station Update. Last edited by Mark McLeod : 16-02-2011 at 13:36. |
