Axis Camera Help

After wiring up the axis camera (which worked fine when plugged into the wall), we found that, even though we were getting 5 volts from the PD board, and 5 volts from the part that connects to the camera, we just aren't recieving an image. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Thanks for your help.

Re: Axis Camera Help

When you say it worked when plugged into the wall, do you mean you could connect to it and get a picture using a web browser?

Did you reconfigure it to have the necessary user name and password?

What color is the ring around the camera lens?

What language are you using to program your robot?

Re: Axis Camera Help

Yes, not sure, gray, and Windriver.
I'm wasn't directly involved with the programming, so I'll have to ask about the username and password thing.
Also, we had originally started with LabVIEW, but we're in the process of refiguring our cRIO to work with Wind River.
Thanks for your response!

Re: Axis Camera Help

In your programming you have to start it with getInstance or use getImage for working with the picture.

Smile Re: Axis Camera Help

Oh... I didn't realize that we had to program it to get an image to show! Thanks!
