Length of Reflective Tape
I know i could use sensors, but i am creating an autonomous program in LabVIEW in case we can't find a spot to mount the sensors. Out of curiosity does anyone know the length of the reflective tape on the field at the T and the Y?
Thanks |

Re: Length of Reflective Tape
Well me and some of the math teachers at my school did calculations on the measurements given using trig and calc and found all of the measurements. The complete angle on the inside of the Y is 60.2 degrees, or 30.1 for each half if you were trying to calculate any of the other measurements using tangent, sine, cosine, etc. I would like to be more help but at the moment I do not have the exact measurements handy. I do however have the link to the pdfs. that we derived all of our measurements from which FIRST provided online. Below youll find a link to it. Look at the pdfs and youll find a schematic to the field. After that any specific measurements should be very easy math. Calculating the angle was the most difficult part. Good luck and I hope that I helped.

Re: Length of Reflective Tape
I don't think that's reflective tape on the floor...it's gray gaffers tape.

Re: Length of Reflective Tape
Reflective tape is on the end caps on the goal pegs, it's gray gaffer's tape on the floor.
