Great plays, and other amazing things this week!

Just for a little bragging and what not, lets talk about some AMAZING plays that went on.

My personal favorite was the RoboWranglers double-ubertube-score in the qualification round of Alamo. Scored the first on the top peg, turned around, PICKED UP THEIR ALLIANCE PARTNERS UBERTUBE, and scored it on the top reack too! Then proceded to complete two top row logos, and deploy a minibot for 1st place. AMAZING!!!!

I'll leave it to someone else to talk about the final match for Finger Lakes...

33's robot does a double ubertube score almost every time.

Must've missed it. 2nd year team here, so I am easily impressed. Which regional?

I think you meant the RoboWranglers, FRC148

The Wildstangs FRC111 were not in San Antonio.

Yeah, it was FRC148 who scored more than one ubertube during autonomous in several matches. Their minibot was crazy fast too. With team 16 Bomb Squad, they make an Einstein quality alliance, consistently hanging those tubes up on those pegs.

Killer Bee's double UBERTUBE along with their partner 2137 resulted in several 18-point AUTONOMOUS scores in elims at Kettering District.

A funny thing I saw on the Friday streams was a robot barreling backwards into the other line during autonomous. The name or even regional escapes me.

And yeah, I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor from the doublegrab.

Another really funny thing is when a minibot gets accidentally deployed. One match at Alamo i saw some team actually shoot out their minibot with 115 seconds left. It just spazzed out on the floor, jerking back and forth in the middle of the field.

Their minibot deployment system was impressively reliable compared to ours, but our minibot beat them up the pole in the final round.

Re: Great plays, and other amazing things this week!

these are all kinda funny events that have happened, but I was thinking more along the lines of a step by step descriptions of great strategies and plays that caused a team to win or make a serious comeback. Kinda like in the finger Lakes Final, the blue alliance came back from almost losing the second round to winning by minibot deployment. the final score at this moment escapes me...

teams scoring multiple logos, multi ubertube scores, crazy deployment races, etc...
