FRC Written up on PCWorld's GeekTech Blog
So, I have to say, this is a bit of shameless self-promotion, since I wrote the article, but here it is if you're interested:
FIRST Robotics Competition's 2011 Season is Worth a Look Anyway, many thanks to the wonderful volunteers at the Sacramento regional who were helpful and tolerant of my presence. Special thanks to Alex Bittle from 692, David Rappaport from 1678, Julian Binder from 852, Connor Reiss and John Luckenbach from Team 100 for letting me drag them away from the pits for a few minutes to talk. I had a fantastic time watching Logomotion in action. Best of luck to those teams still competing in the coming weeks! -Blair |

Shameless indeed, but very nice exposure for FIRST Robotics.
For your audience I might have mentioned that visitors were encouraged to visit the pits and get a close look, nonetheless a very good article. |

Very cool. Posted on FB.
(Typo first paragraph - "a NCAA" - should be an, unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible, because as a programmer, English stopped being my primary language a long time ago.) |
