We didn't make it to Champs this year but we did build a very impressive robot this year. We had some technical problems with the 2Can and the Jags at SVR but the kids overcame their problems on Saturday and put up some impressive numbers.

We couldn't overcome the combined fire power of the Poofs and HolyCow's in the semi's.

Re: FRC971

I never saw any of your team's matches, so I assumed you guys had an off year. But after seeing your robot perform I feel like it's almost a crime your team isn't going to be at Championships.

After seeing great teams like 125 and 971 fail to make it to St.Louis, I think there should be some sort of judges' award that sends great team to the champs for no reason other than it just doesn't seem right to not include them. I know such subjectivity wouldn't always be fair, but it just feels wrong that your season had to end so soon.

Anyway, great robot and I hope your team has better luck in the off season!

Re: FRC971

You guys have a great team and it was a blast working with you in the semis! You guys definitely deserve a spot at St.Louis.

One of the most impressive robots I have seen so far !

The DiscoBots 2587 feel your pain. We also had a great robot but sometimes luck is just not with you. We had to always face the Robonauts 118 in each our elimination brackets.

But there is always IRI ... I hope the IRI organizers consider teams that performed well but did not attend championship.

Thanks for the compliments, I know the team is really proud of their robot this year, and they continue to be a strong force in the bay area. Unfortunately, a few problems early in the event made a three-peat impossible.

971 is planning on applying to IRI, and we're hoping to get in.

Re: FRC971

SVR Q78:
1st logo put up in 33 seconds (from teleop start to 1:11, when the triangle hits the peg)
2nd logo put up in ~20 seconds (from 1:11 to 1:31)
3rd logo put up in ~25 seconds again (from 1:31 to 1:56)
and about a 2 second minibot.

Average time of 26 seconds per logo? It really is a shame you didn't go to champs! Good luck in the offseason!

Re: FRC971

This is such a good robot. Its unfortunate that this team is not at championship. They are a great team to work with. I really hope you make it to IRI. I look forward to seeing this robot again at Calgames.
