Team 3507 Ubotics Video

This video is one we made to showcase our robot, the competition, and our journey we took up to and including our last regional, where we won the Rookie All-Star Award. It's a pretty cool robot, and I just wanted to show it to all you guys (and maybe get some people remembering Team 3507!)

The first thing you'll probably notice about the robot is the arm, which can only reach the middle row of pegs. That was a calculated decision, made in the interest of doing something we KNEW we could do instead of taking a risk and having a robot with an arm that doesn't work at all. We didn't realize how important looks were in getting chosen for the elimination rounds, and, quite frankly, probably wouldn't have cared anyway. We did a lot better than we expected, coming in as rookies.

It's also slower than most, but it can still move around pretty well, especially with a good driver, and it can push pretty well. There's a pretty good shot of that in the video.

P.S. I'm the one wearing the N7 hoodie with the red and white stripes down the right sleeve. For some reason, I always seem to be moving around...
