In The End, There can be only one.....
Posted by Dave Carter, Student on team #131, CHAOS, from Manchester Central High School and Osram Sylvania.
Posted on 3/11/99 4:34 PM MST Allright kids, Check this: The Alliance rule in first will give us co-champions... That's half a championship, half a title, and half the honor if you think about it.. No one remembers, half the champion or the co champion. They remember THE Champion. Now I know that this post sounds a little bit out of the "true spirit" of the United States FIRST competition. But doesn't the thought of one champion, one team, one truly best team get your competitive juices flowing?? I know mine do. Competition is the ultimate test. When's the last time you decided that you had co-winners winners in a pick-up game of basketball? Never. Who thinks it would be cool to have the ultimate duel, between the winning alliance? To determine the true supreme team. Lemme know your thoughts, its an interesting question. "In the end there can be only one" (what do you guys think?) ----Keep it easy(as always) The Carter |
