Victor not responding to signal

Right now Im trying to troubleshoot why our Victor will not respond to any sort of signal we send it. At the moment we are using labview as our programming language. Whenever we try to send any input signal to the Victor, there is no output of any sort, and the status light on the victor continues to flash, although our Jaguars WILL respond. I have tested our signal cables and they DO work and are oriented correct, tried resetting the calibration, tested the Digital Sidecar, and yet no solutions found. Are there any suggestions on what to test besides the things listed?

Re: Victor not responding to signal

Have you tried replacing the victor with another victor?

Re: Victor not responding to signal

Not getting new ones till later this week. Trying a different one would be the best way of seeing if it was broken, but until then I need to see if I can get this one working.

Re: Victor not responding to signal

A couple things to look into:
The PWM connectors on the Victors are notorious for being finicky. Make sure they are seated properly.
Also, makesure the PWM cable is oriented correctly.

The flashing LED indicates that no signal is being received by the Victor.

Re: Victor not responding to signal

Interestingly, we never had a problem with Victors before this season. We then used a bunch of them on our practice robot, and ran into this exact issue on half of them! Pretty frustrating hour or two until we figured out the PWM cables just were seating right!

Re: Victor not responding to signal

It happens to EVERYBODY.
I haven't used any of the "vex pro" victors yet, are they any better? If not, why hasn't IFI fixed this yet?
