CMP Eligibility and Drayage/Shipping Coupons

Hi Everyone.
Team 1515 "MorTorq" is eligible to preregister for CMP. We intend on registering as soon as is possible given the fact that it is on an as-needed basis. With that said, it is my understanding that teams which qualify for CMP at a regional event are assigned Shipping Coupons to send their robot to a drayage location. I would like to clarify that teams who preregister also get said coupons. While we theoretically could deal with shipping the robot ourselves, this would obviously be less than ideal.

All teams that registered and paid for CMP have gotten shipping from Fedex in past years. This included teams that did not win a spot.

Of course... there is no guarantee that this year it will be the same but I would think that it will.

Given the fact that the ONLY free shipping is to and from CMP and possibly some worthy exceptional cases...

I would imagine that Fed Ex will come through for all CMP teams

Thank you, Bob. We will assume for now that we will have the vouchers.

However, if anyone knows for sure whether such teams get Shipping/Drayage vouchers, Team 1515 would definitely like to know.
