Re: pic: 2011 MadTown ThrowDown Finalists
RC, is this the first picture of your robot to go up on CD?
The event looked great on the webcast. I was amazed by how many powerhouse robots came to play. Looking forward to visiting MTTD next year! Nice Autobots insignia, hehe. |

Is it me or does 1323, look like 254 and 973 had a baby?

Re: pic: 2011 MadTown ThrowDown Finalists
Considering that 1323 and 973 were near twins, I would believe you are correct.

Re: pic: 2011 MadTown ThrowDown Finalists
Here's my Blue Alliance flavored video. It was a dream match and what a way to end the Logomotion season with the two World Champs 973 254 and 841 battling three California power houses 1323 971 3569. Tied at 1 match each, the rubber match goes wild. 254's human player (Adam) is raining the tubes on the red alliance side but the 971 drive team is hanging tubes like no other. 3569 is trying to chase down the Emperor Swerve. The red alliance breaks to the towers early to defeat the defensive blocking scheme and both teams have the same number of tubes hung going into end game. Everybody grabs a extra tube to hang after launch and it all comes down to a one second minibot race for the fame and glory
1323 gets the jump and 254 971 and 973 launch at exactly the same time. With 4 of the fastest minibotss in First the minibot race is over in the blink of an eye.Match 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04KLXM23cnw Match 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPzBRtoR0O0 Match 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RObKOTTNUEc Last edited by roystur44 : 15-11-2011 at 00:52. |

Re: pic: 2011 MadTown ThrowDown Finalists
Wow. That's an amazing story Roystur. That just makes me feel worse about not being able to make it.
At least I was doing good, helping 256's FLL teams in competition, so it wasn't all that bad! Thanks for the videos! |
