The Israel Regional will take place for the 8th year, since introducing FIRST Israel back in 2005. It is the only FRC Regional located outside North America.
Dates: March 5th-7th
Location: Nokia Arena, Tel Aviv. It is usually hosting several sport events (it's the home for local Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team) and concerts.

After 55 teams in 2010, FIRST Israel has limited the amount of teams to 50 in 2011, and this limit will stay this year too. So far, 39 teams have registered, including:
- Three rookie teams - 4319, 4320, 4326
- Team 3368 from Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Team 1662 from Lodi, CA - which our team is proudly hosting during the competition days for two years already!
- Team 1731 from Marshall, VA - which will come to Israel for the first time this year

Six teams will get a ticket to the FIRST Championship in St. Louis, MO:
- Three Regional Winners
- Regional Chairman's Award Winner
- Regional Engineering Inspiration Winner
- Regional Rookie All-Star
Kickoff: A kickoff event will be held by FIRST Israel on January 8th.
