FRC Alumni looking for West Michigan Team to Mentor/Junior Mentor

Greetings all! First let me say Im sorry if I posted this in the wrong place I checked the "before you post" stuff and it didn't say not to post things like this but alas, I am rambling on...

I am an Alumni of FRC - I spent 2 years on the now defunct 1227 Technogremlins and 1 year as a Junior Mentor for 904 DSquared. Now I am looking to extend my horizons and maybe extend my knowledge to some of the other teams in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. I believe FIRST is an amazing foundation, and that more kids and teens should join because it is an excellent bonding and learning experience.

Not sure if we are outside of your range, but Muskegon county is growing slowly in FRC teams. Two of the three teams are new in the last two years. Min, mine being one of those teams. We currently have only three mentors, one of which is new to the team and has no idea what is in store for him come January. Let me know if you have any interest and we can talk from there.

Thats probably a bit far to be driving everyday. Im 22 and still trying to balance out my current finances so i dont have much for gas which is why I am looking for teams within only a few miles of grand rapids

If you click on the teams' numbers, it brings you to a page containing details for each team, including their location within the state, and (for some teams) their team website if you wish to contact them.
