Driver Station & cRio communication problem.
Summary of the problem.
Driver station user can't communicate to cRio. Developer user works as expected. Driver station should, I believe, communicate to cRio. Tried several troubleshooting to solve the problem. -Installed latest updates for driver station/utilities/labview. -Developer profile can communicate to robot(transfer files/deploy projects). -Robot is tethered. -Set to use lan/ethernet What we have tried so far. -Using another cross over cable. -reimaged cRio several times -check power -checked ip. There's a possibility that cRio might have gone bad. Going to image the classmate again, setup driver station in a attempt to fix the problem. Thoughts or Solutions? |

Re: Driver Station & cRio communication problem.
If the equipment works from one account but not from another, I'd look at the firewall and virus protection SW.
Also, can you describe what the DS looks like when logged in as driver? The Diagnostic tab pings the cRIO and other HW and shows the results, and the Messages display may have useful info as well. Greg McKaskle |
