[FF]: 2013 Season Long Waiver Thread

This thread is for all things waiver in the Season Long Fantasy FIRST League for the 2013 competition. For those that haven't played, it's really simple: If a team becomes available after a draft, for any reason, they can be claimed in this thread. Any team can claim any available team in any of their tiers; highest on the list to make a claim gets them and goes to the bottom of the list. No limit to the number of claims per cycle. Any player missing a team jumps straight to the top of the waiver list in that tier only.

Teams will be available for a minimum of 48 hours after their presence as an available team is announced. The maximum time a team will spend on the waiver list is 7 days plus up to 48 hours, as I process the claims at least once every 7 days. If the deadline is sooner than 7 days, that will be announced.

I have an initial waiver priority list. It's based on the total number of points scored last year in all events (regular season+championship). The more total points you scored, the lower on the initial list you ended up. Rookie groups are at the top in order of signing up. If more teams add in, I'll get them in position as they come.

With registration closed, I now have the current official waiver order.

A few other notes: Waivers will be cycled on Sunday nights. Teams that aren't on the waiver list by Friday night will not go through the cycle; they go to the next week. At my discretion, I may cycle waivers faster; in no case will a team be on waiver for less than 48 hours.

If some player drops out of the league, their teams will be on waiver immediately--attempting to pick up one of those teams will be counted as a waiver claim.

If more than one claim is made in a given cycle, make sure to note the order you want to make the claims in.

You must be in the tier. So, I cannot take any teams that are currently on waiver, as they are not in my tier.

You all have until the waivers are processed the evening of 12/2 to make claims. Claims include the team you want to pick up, the team you'll give up to get them, and the tier you're in. Multiple claims should have a priority indication of which one is most important to you.

As a reminder, when one of your claims goes through, you go to the bottom of the list. However, even being at the bottom there are a number of decent teams that filter down to you; I spent most of last season at the bottom of the list and did reasonably well.

Minimum 2 days warning if I need to do a fast cycle. Same warning as a new team joining the list on waiver.

James, you're A-OK--assuming that that list is in priority order.

Incidentally... if someone claims A for B and C for D in Magnolia Regional. A is claimed by someone higher on the list, but C is not. They get C and drop B. D is unaffected.

By that ruling, can we put our drops on priority too?

Yes. Standard practice. I typically assume that if you're making multiple drops, the highest-priority claim is the first team you want to drop.

Yes, mainly because Friday is the last day a team can become eligible for the waiver cycle ending Sunday (there's a mandatory minimum time of 48 hours--this allows everyone to see who's available).

I'll be going through and updating with Awesome's dropped teams as soon as I can--it may be a little while to a day or so.
