USB Camera Stopped working

We had a Logitech Webcam working with our testboard and then we got new Microsoft Lifecam 3000 and it worked for the first couple times but then it stopped working. What is wrong and how do we get it to work. We want it to work with the smartdashboard and when it worked we were using the simple vision example code into our robot program.
