I got to meet Andy Baker, and Grady, and I saw Andy Brockway. Is that like an Andy Triple Play or something?? ;) |

If people played without PDA's back when FIRST had this addiction to nigh-impossible-to-calculate-in-your-head multipliers, then we can play without PDA's now. |

Whatever you do, make it idiot-proof. Not because your drivers are idiots, but because the fewer precision maneuvers they have to do, the more awesome driving (and scoring!) they have time to do. |

I found the best way to slice through pit crowds is to carry a clipboard and look like you know where you are going. People just seem to slide out of your way. :) |

If your robot doesn't work, it doesn't matter, because the robot is really meaningless, in the long run. What is the important thing, the reason we're all in FIRST then? To better our understanding of Science and Technology, and hopefully make the world a better place. |

Just remember, FIRST isn't about the robot, just have fun, meet new people, and try to learn something new. Killing yourself with inhumane amounts of pressure just isn't fun for anyone.
